$45,000 Keno Plus Win Will Help Pay Off Student Loans for Warwick Resident Winter Bills Won't Seem so Cold for $10,000 Woonsocket Winner
Amanda Quinn, of Warwick claimed a winning $45,000 Keno Plus ticket. She entered the Lottery Headquarters suspecting she won about $800. When she was told she won $45,000, her eyes filled with tears of joy. "I just can't believe it!" she kept repeating. Amanda played five (5) seven (7) spot Keno Plus games and matched all seven (7) numbers on her last draw to win the standard payout of $4,500. The prize was multiplied by 10, the Keno Plus number for that drawing, to equal $45,000. She is extremely excited about her win and cannot wait to tell her family and friends. She plans to use the money won to pay her college tuition. "I actually was planning on studying for an exam today," she stated. She purchased the winning ticket at Picasso's Pizza, 2323 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
A Woonsocket man started his Monday off on a high note when he claimed a winning $10,000 "Cash Machine" Instant Ticket prize. The man had faith he would someday win big, saying "I've been playing the lottery for years." He plans to use the money won to pay off bills, which will allow him to live a bit more comfortably this winter. The winning ticket was purchased at Woonsocket Express Convenience, 575 South Main St., Woonsocket.
